I've been receiving email asking questions about the site such as such as how, why, who started it ect. So I figured I would add this page to answer a few of the questions I put this site together shortly after my spinal cord injury (C-5, C-6 incomplete) from an auto accident in New York in the summer of 1995.

It was very difficult to find information on spinal cord injury at that time.  The little information i could find, was scattered across the Internet in bits and pieces. So I decided to put together a resource where someone in my situation, along with their friends and family could find everything in one place in a easy to understand format..

This site was created, is maintained and updated by only one person (me), so sometimes things such as updates and new sections are not done as quickly as I would like, but I do my best.

I receive a lot of email from visitors asking how they can help, and suggested I set up an account with Paypal to accept donations to help support the site.  I cant thank everyone enough for all their support and encouragement. I don't know how I could have kept this site up and running without it.
